Arthur Moore was a man of common sense who researched thoroughly his duties and parliamentary responsibility and thus when Sir John Goldie-Taubman SHK died he was elected Speaker of the House of Keys narrowly beating John Allen Mylrea MHK to the post.

Anatole Taubman (born 23 December 1970) is a Swiss actor, who has appeared in many films, such as a henchman in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace and as the monk Remigius in the TV miniseries The Pillars of the Earth.
Taubman's career initially launched with his popularity as a children's recording artist in the early 1990s, during which he was prominently seen on the Disney Channel performing songs like "You Need a Haircut, You Really Need a Haircut" and concerts like "Rock'n Toontown" at Disneyland.
The mall is one of four super-regional Taubman malls built in the Detroit metro area in the 1970s, the other three being Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor (1973), Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights (1976) and Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi (1977).
His principal teachers were Enrica Cavallo-Gulli, Harvey Wedeen, Edna Golandsky, Dorothy Taubman, and Rosalyn Tureck.
A 14-screen movie theater (then owned by Cinemark) and a Red Robin and On the Border restaurant were added to the southeastern portion of the mall in 2006, the same year in which Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust acquired the mall from Taubman.
