Blackbirds at Bangpleng

Though it is based on a novel by the famous Thai writer and politician Kukrit Pramoj, the story closely mirrors The Midwich Cuckoos by John Wyndham, which itself was adapted into the 1960 film, Village of the Damned.

Crown of Creation

The David Crosby-penned "Triad" is the only track not composed by an Airplane member, except that the lyrics to the title song are based on lines from John Wyndham's novel The Chrysalids) - unattributed, but with his permission.

Mare Serenitatis

Most of the action in John Wyndham's 1933 short story "The Last Lunarians" takes place on the edge of the Sea of Serenity.
