Married, and the father of three children, Khatib graduated with his Masters degree in International economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Masters degree in International Communications from the American University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor's degree in political science from the School of Political Science in Athens, Greece.
Ruberwa has recently been an honorary guest speaker at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Liberty University and University of St. Thomas (Minnesota).
He is currently a senior fellow in the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, and a professor at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
A graduate of the University of Buffalo, the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Foresta also holds a doctorate degree from the Sorbonne in Information Science.
