Jon Van Caneghem

Van Caneghem was raised on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, United States by his mother, an artist, and his stepfather, a neurologist at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

This hobby grew from his unofficial races down Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood hills and in the early '90s grew into a more serious hobby on racetracks across the country.

Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum

The original Apple II version of the game was written almost single-handedly by Jon Van Caneghem over three years.

Might and Magic IX

It was the first game in the series to be designed by Tim Lang, and the first in which Jon Van Caneghem, the series creator, was not involved in game design.

Trion Worlds

The company was founded in 2006 by Lars Buttler and Jon Van Caneghem, who had each previously worked for EA and NCSoft, respectively.
