Nungesser-Coli, Le Brix and the French aviator Dieudonné Costes made a round-the-world trip between October 1927 and April 1928, traveling 57,000 km (35,400 miles) with a total flying time of 350 hours, although they covered the segment between San Francisco, California, and Tokyo, Japan, aboard ship.
