At the Slovak University of Technology a halls of residence is named after him as well an Elementary School in Rožňava.

This activity has been successful - in June 1937 the National Assembly adopted the Law on the establishment of technical university in Kosice.

After graduating from high school in Rožňava he studied mathematics and physics at the University of Cluj under supervision of Professor Ludovit Schlesinger.
