Owned by the Mesquite Independent School District, it is a 61,000 watt radio tower used by the radio station KEOM which is also operated by Mesquite Independent School District.
Memorial Stadium, is on campus along with the Mesquite Tower which broadcasts the school district's own radio station, KEOM.
