The 2012 debut single from HAERTS, "Wings", received regular airplay throughout the United States and was also featured as the song of the day by KEXP-FM.
While in the US, the band played the CMJ festival in New York City, including a live-to-air in-studio on KEXP.
Singer-songwriter Star Anna has performed the song live with a different melody, most notably on KEXP.
The band also appeared in-studio for radio performances at KEXP, WOXY and Indie 103.1 and as the opening act for bands including Arcade Fire, the Decemberists, The Besnard Lakes, Band of Horses, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the Album Leaf, the Thermals, Earlimart, Say Hi To Your Mom and Fujiya & Miyagi.
"North By North" was played on Grey's Anatomy, episode "Invest In Love" on November 5, 2009, and was also featured as a KEXP song of the day on Dec. 31, 2008, and on NPR's "Second Stage" on November 25, 2008.
The band began a North American tour after being nominated for a Canadian Music Week Indie award and has since performed at the Indies ceremony, SXSW, KEXP, and in cities in the US, Canada, and Europe.
