On July 31, 2007, Saga Communications announced that they would not be renewing the contract of longtime KIOA morning program co-host, Polly Carver-Kimm.
Carver-Kimm has also hosted the televised multi-state Powerball lottery drawing when Mike Pace was on vacation.
Kimm was favored by the American occupation leader John R. Hodge, who saw him and Lyuh Woon-Hyung as moderate leaders on the right and left, respectively.
Chris Biggs became the program's new host on September 11, 2007, after Kimm moved to CHIQ in Winnipeg as the station's morning host, and Richie Favalaro became the host in early 2008 after Biggs left CHUM to join a competing Toronto radio station, CKFM.
