Previous Fox affiliate KXTF simulcasted a weeknight prime time newscast at 9 but that show was technically produced by KPVI for its co-owned station KFXP in the Pocatello/Idaho Falls market.
Locally-owned, KTWT is sister to CBS/CW affiliate KMVT and the two outlets share studios on Blue Lakes Boulevard North/U.S. 93 in Twin Falls.

In December 1983, Apple purchased time on KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho, after the normal sign-off and recorded the broadcast in order to qualify.
Upon returning to Idaho, Kabakoro worked as a correspondent for the Magic Valley Times News and interned at KLIX-FM Radio in Idaho, and also in the News Department at Southern Idaho's CBS affiliate KMVT.
