(KPC), an integrated international oil company, is the parent company of the government's operations in the petroleum sector, and includes Kuwait Oil Company, which produced oil and gas; Kuwait National Petroleum Co., refining and domestic sales; Petrochemical Industries Co., producing ammonia and urea; Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co., with several concessions in developing countries; Kuwait Oil Tanker Co.
According to Transparency International, companies operating in Sudan (based on reporting in 2009) included four national companies: China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC, the Indian NOC) and Petronas (Petroliam Nasional Berhad).
The Friendly Hills Medical Group was acquired by KPC Global Care KPC "see Chadhuri Medical Group" and continued operations for a short while, however it too was placed into receivership by the State of California Department of Corporations in 1999 and closed down.

Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) is a state corporation that has the responsibility of transporting, storing and delivering petroleum products to the consumers of Kenya by its pipeline system and oil depot network.
The KPC's first commander was Agim Çeku, who resigned from the organisation in 2006 to become Prime Minister of Kosovo.
In October 2012 Mr Mwaita and four other persons faced fraud charges over the alleged sale of a piece of land in Ngong forest to Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) for Sh272 million.
However, the spring 2008 KPC Musical, Oliver!, was not a partnership with Studio East, and KPC has not produced a spring musical since then.
