After nearly fifteen years operating the station, its owners sold K25DM and sister station K42FD (now KVPA-LD) to a new broadcast group called Latin America Broadcasting in August 2005.
Early programming is unknown, but later, the station aired the same programming, Home Shopping Network, as K25DM, which at the time was also owned by Broadcasting Systems, Inc.

Owned by Liberman Broadcasting of Burbank, California, the station is an owned-and-operated affiliate of the Spanish-language network Estrella TV.

On August 18, 2008, the former owners of LAT TV announced that KVPA-LP would be sold to Liberman Broadcasting, a company that specializes in Spanish-language television and radio, for $1.25 million.
