Zinga has been a radio and television reporter and anchorwoman for all three television stations in the Quad Cities-- WQAD-TV, KWQC-TV (while it was still WOC-TV) and WHBF-TV.

KWQC-TV

The KWQC-TV Tower is a 1,381-foot (421 m) high guy-wired aerial mast for the transmission of FM radio and television programs in Bettendorf, west of the Scott Community College campus.

The weather conditions and radar displayed on the channel are fed direct from the station's computers; KWQC never affiliated with the defunct NBC Weather Plus service or used Weather Plus branding on the subchannel or for its weather branding on-air during its newscasts.

KWQC-TV is owned by Media General, with studios in downtown Davenport and transmitter located in Orion, Illinois.

Originally on channel 5, WOC-TV moved to channel 6 in 1952 due to interference with Iowa State University's WOI-TV in Ames.

Russ Rhea

After 3 years as a reporter and host of PM Magazine at KWQC-TV in Davenport, Iowa, Rhea moved to KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas, where he spent 10 years as a morning show host, weathercaster and reporter.
