Chellappa who was in quest of a heroine for his film production meets Meena (Sachu), the daughter of the manager of Vishwanathan's estate.
He starred in many successful films of the times though mainly in supporting roles in movies like Kalyana Parisu, Kaadhalikka Neramillai and Server Sundaram.
