Kai Diekmann (born June 27, 1964 in Ravensburg) is a German journalist.
On 4 January 2012, Wulff said in an interview that he wanted to stay in office and that the call to Bild editor Kai Diekmann had been a "serious mistake" that was "unworthy" of a president and for which he had already apologized.
After his Abitur (roughly equivalent to high school graduation) and mandatory military service, which he completed on the editorial staff of a military newspaper, he studied at the University of Münster.
