As well as the park and the restaurant, Kaisaniemi has its own metro station and Kinopalatsi, the second largest movie theatre in Helsinki.
It is located 0.6 kilometres from the Central Railway Station, and 0.9 kilometres from the Hakaniemi metro station.
At one side of the square is the entrance to the Central Railway Station and the Rautatientori metro station and near to the opposite corner is the entrance to the Kaisaniemi metro station.
