Harold M. Phillipoff (born July 14, 1956 in Kamsack, Saskatchewan) is a former professional ice hockey left winger.
Notable residents of Kamsack have included writers Eleanor Coerr, Myrna Dey, Cedric Dey and John Newlove, jurist Wilbur Jackett and hockey players Jack Church, Darcy Hordichuk, Harold Phillipoff and Tyler Wright.
Blocks of intact forest include Wood Buffalo Park, the areas around Cold Lake/Primrose Lake and Doré Lake, Prince Albert National Park, to the north of Cumberland Lake, Riding Mountain National Park, Porcupine Hills, Duck Mountain Provincial Park (Manitoba), Duck Mountain Provincial Park (Saskatchewan) (near the town of Kamsack and the Peace–Athabasca Delta on the Slave River.
Excavation of the lake was performed by Dominion Construction of Regina and Broda Construction of Kamsack.
Tributaries include the Whitesand River which joins it near Kamsack, Saskatchewan, the Souris River which joins it near Wawanesa, the Birdtail River which joins at the Birdtail Sioux First Nation, the Little Saskatchewan which joins west of Brandon and the Qu'Appelle River which joins near the site of historic Fort Ellice.
