Paul Kantner (born 1941), American rock musician, most noted for co-founding the psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane
She first appeared as an infant on the sleeve of the Kantner/Slick 1971 solo LP Sunfighter.
Kantner built a Bleriot monoplane with a 50 horsepower Gnome engine in which he soloed on June 30, 1911 and was given Fédération Aéronautique Internationale certificate number 65 on October 14, 1911 in Mineola, New York.
It was written in 1968 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a boat owned by Crosby, who composed the music, while Kantner and Stills wrote most of the lyrics.
