In October 2001, the band were chosen to support the Rollins Band but, due to the Ansett collapse, Henry Rollins and his band were forced to cancel their Perth show.

The band continued to tour Australia, including the Big Day Out tour, Pyramid Rock Festival, Southbound and Homebake.
The festival was headlined by Karnivool, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Michal Menert, the Manganiyar Seduction and Bombay Bicycle Club.
The band themselves have mentioned artists such as Karnivool, Sikth, Opeth, Bjork, Jaga Jazzist, Kaki King and Between the Buried and Me as influencing their sound.
In October 2010 the band entered Underground Studios again, this time with co-producer, Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dallas Frasca, Birds of Tokyo, The Butterfly Effect) to begin recording the album.
