Dekese Territory is an administrative area in the Kasaï District of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Ilebo, formerly known as Port-Francqui, is a town in Kasaï District, Kasaï-Occidental province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, lying at the highest navigable point of the Kasaï River.
The city of Tshikapa lies within the district, but is independently administered.
The province is divided into the Kasaï and Lulua districts, with their headquarters in the towns of Luebo and Tshimbulu.
Originating in Angola, the river flows north through the eastern part of Kwango District, then continues north along the boundary between Kwilu District and Kasaï District to its mouth on the Kasai.
