The middle daughter of immigrants from Kastri, Greece who lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, she was married to retired veterinarian, William J. Stratas, who died in 2013.
Kastri-Loutro (Greek: Καστρί-Λουτρό) is a settlement of the department of the beach of Aigani, a former municipal district of Kato Olympos, which is part of the municipality of Tempi in the Larissa regional unit, Thessaly, Greece.
