Inge Johansen

Johansen has contributed to the establishment of Kathmandu University, and due to this a university building has been named after him - the Prof. Inge Johansen Engineering Block.

Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling

It has since entered into a cooperation agreement with Kathmandu University to form the Center for Buddhist Studies whereby its students can be awarded BA and MA degrees from KU, with a major in "Buddhist Studies with Himalayan Language."

This university operates through its six schools and from premises in Dhulikhel, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

The second convocation was held on 8 December 1996 and the convocation address was delivered by Professor N. Gyanam, Vice Chancellor, Pondicherry University and the President of Association of Indian Universities.
