The Kecskemét faculty of the Horticultural University researches into the biological, chemical, technical, and economic aspects of food production and preservation.
He attended elementary school in Vršac, then gymnasium in Timişoara and Kecskemét.
As an active tournament player in the 1960s and 1970s, he achieved many fine results, including sharing or winning outright first place at Sarajevo 1965, Copenhagen 1965, Titovo Uzice 1966, Hastings 1967/68, Havana 1969, Albena 1970, Kecskemet 1972, Brno 1975 (the inaugural Czech Open Championship – the title of Champion going to Vlastimil Hort on tie-break), Lublin 1976, and Dubna 1979.
She played solo and chamber music concerts at various festivals such as the Kodály Festival in Kecskemét, Hungary (2010), International Harp Festival in Belgrade, Serbia (2010), International Harp Festival in Gödöllő, Hungary (2010 – 2011), Budapest Spring Festival, Hungary (2011), International Chamber Music Festival, in Kaposvár, Hungary (2011).
They played a prominent part in Hungarian history as early as the reign of Coloman of Hungary (1070-1116); and from King Matthias Corvinus (1458-1490) they received their estates at Mezőtúr, near Kecskemét, granted to Michael Kállay for his heroic defence of Jajce in Bosnia.
