St Just in Penwith

The parish encompasses the town of St Just and the nearby settlements of Trewellard, Pendeen and Kelynack: it is bounded by the parishes of Morvah to the north-east, Sancreed and Madron to the east, St Buryan and Sennen to the south and by the sea in the west.

Cape Cornwall Secondary School

The school has three houses: Kelynack (named after the local settlement), Lafrowda (a small area of St Just and the name of the local festival) and Lyonesse (a fictional county in Arthurian legend which has strong Celtic links).

William Kelynack

During the 1860s, Kelynack was a councillor of Newington College, a committee member of Sydney City Mission, and became coeditor of the Christian Advocate and Wesleyan Record with William Curnow.
