He also participated in a school supply collection drive for underprivileged kids, worked with his wife on a Christmas project to collect toys for kids, was a member of the AFL Army Boot Camp – which paid visits to area high schools to teach importance of education, team work and physical fitness, visited schools as part of Orange County Career Day and served meals to homeless at Salvation over Thanksgiving as part of an off-season full of community relations activities.
