The 2013 season is Ligi Ndogo Soccer Club's second year in the FKF Division One and the 3rd consecutive season in the second tier of the Kenyan football league system.
The Kenyan National Super League will be the second tier of the Kenyan football league system from the beginning of the 2014 season.
From the beginning of the 2014 season, the Kenyan Provincial League was scrapped to give way to FKF Division Two, the fourth tier of the Kenyan football league system below FKF Division One and above the Kenyan County Champions League, in line with the introduction of a new six-tier system by the Football Kenya Federation to take effect from the beginning of that season.
