The group's primary activities are split between working with bands in a live environment and working with bands in an online capacity, boasting an online community in the region of 1,00 members (KilkennyMusic.com, December 4, 2008), a sign of the times for music in Kilkenny, a city home to the likes of Kerbdog, My Little Funhouse, Kaydee, Engine alley, Wilt and more.
Notable students to have attended the school include Wisconsin statesman Michael Egan, actor Ralph Fiennes, economist Raymond Crotty, and members of Kerbdog.

They have shared the stage with some of the biggest rock bands in the world including The Offspring, Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dropkick Murphys, Thrice, Anthrax, Kerbdog, Head Automatica and Republic Of Loose.
