The term "Thrash Metal" was first referred to in the music press by Kerrang journalist Malcolm Dome while making a reference to the Anthrax song "Metal Thrashing Mad" in issue number 62, page 8 published on 23 February 1984.
Jettblack were added for two dates at the London Roundhouse at the end of the tour.
Kerrang!/XFM UK Acoustic Sessions is the third EP by rock quartet Coheed and Cambria and it was released exclusively for iTunes music store.

Two of the tracks off the EP ("Absence" and "Far") were featured in regular rotation on XM Radio's SquiZZ, Europe's Kerrang!, and various FM stations across the U.S. "Right On Time" (another track off the EP) and "Welt" (previously unreleased) were part of the "WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008" soundtrack.
Donnelly has made various radio appearances such as BBC Radio 4's 28 Acts in 28 Minutes, LBC's Comedy Cabaret and Tim Shaw's The Asylum on Kerrang! Radio.
They were also championed by the magazine itself, which included an appearance at the Kerrang! Weekender in 2002 at Camber Sands, East Sussex.
The band also contributed a cover of the Nirvana song In Bloom for Kerrang!'s cover album of Nevermind, released in their special edition issue celebrating the 20th anniversary of the grunge act's breakthrough release.
In June 2003 Hitechjet released, 'If you take anything...', a 7 track mini-album which received critical acclaim in many magazines and fanzines including Kerrang (4K), Big Cheese (4/5) and Drowned in Sound (9/10).
Since then he has appeared on BBC Radio, Kerrang, Daily Mail and worked with United Kingdoms chart topping singer songwriter Sandi Thom.
The opening ceremony followed previous openings/ribbon cuttings done in the past by members of the Kerrang Team and Faithless.

Kerrang! magazine wrote in praise of the reunion; journalist Steve Beebee describing it as "persistently entertaining, with monstrous melodies that reach delirious peaks".
As a writer and a photographer Keller's work has appeared in magazines such as Playboy, Tape OP, NME, Kerrang, Rolling Stone, Teen People, Cat Fancy, Time, and National Geographic and on albums by bands such as Jubilee, At The Drive-In, Jimmy Eat World, The Criminals, F.Y.P, Face to Face, Treadwell, Shat, and Oasis.
The single, paving the way for the new album received rave reviews and earned the band features in such high-profile magazines as Metal Hammer and Kerrang!.
