The term derives from Middle Iranian xvatay, xwadag meaning "lord", "ruler", "master" (written as Parthian kwdy, Middle Persian kwdy, Sogdian kwdy, etc.).
Thereby, Khuda-Yana's world is a well cared mixture, a pastiche, a collage of genders and styles – pirates, One Thousand and One Nights, Greek mythology, Jules Verne's steampunk from sci-fi, and fantasy to a few anachronisms for comedy sake – i.e. making Khuda talking through a modern cell-phone or wearing a modern cheerleader outfit for a short gag.
Shan-e-Khuda is a type of mango which is cultivated in some parts of Pakistan, specifically in the Multan and Rahim Yar Khan districts.
Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai (I believe in God) is a Pakistani drama serial, starring Ahsan Khan, Ayesha Khan, Momal Sheikh and Mikaal Zulfiqar airing on Hum TV released on August 13, 2013.
The serial name was based on a famous song “Sajan re jhoot mat bolo, Khuda ke paas jana hai” from the movie Teesri Kasam.
