It is more easily accessible from the Slovene side from Planina pod Golico.

Its northern slopes are known, due to their inaccessibility, for its alpine flora, particularly the protected edelweiss.
This comprises a completed geographical whole border on the western side by the mountain massif of Velika Kapela dominated by Klek (1181 m).
Along with these marine landscapes were views of pastures and valleys from continental Croatia (Klek, Dobra, and around Zagreb).
