From 30 May 1940, they were used in the defence of French cities, patrolling in Avignon - Marseille area, then from Clermont-Ferrand, without any encounters with the enemy.
Designed by Frederick Koolhoven the prototype biplane trainer first flew on 25 May 1935.
Estonian guerrillas burned the plane and buried the crew in Velise.
Only one was made, flying chiefly in Europe in the year before World War II, but destroyed when Germany invaded the Netherlands in May 1940.
