Heinrich Koppers

From 1907 Koppers worked in the USA for some time, and in 1912 founded Koppers Inc in Chicago, Illinois, an industrial organization now based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.

Koppers

In 1943, Koppers, at the US Government's behest, built a factory in Kobuta, Pennsylvania on the left bank of the Ohio River just downriver from Beaver, to manufacture styrene-butadiene monomer, a building block used to make a form of synthetic rubber for the World War II defense effort.

Mayfield North, New South Wales

Originally the estate comprised CSR Chemicals, Titans, Koppers, and part of the BHP Steelworks (No2 Merchant Mill, Rod Mill, Limestone Kiln and Spares Yard).


Moltkeviertel

The Villa Koppers, Moltkeplatz No. 61, the former residence of the industrialist Heinrich Koppers, now houses the International School Ruhr.
