Since moving to Sevlyush the father of Mykhaylo, Michal, became a railroad worker (first in the neighboring Korolevo and then in Vynohradiv), while his mother stayed at home.

There is also a line running eastwards to Romania via Korolevo and Halmeu although there are currently no regular passenger services.
