The Vychegda in Koryazhma is navigable, and in summer there is regular passenger navigation connecting Kotlas and Soyga (located approximately half-way between Koryazhma and Yarensk).
The ferry is connected by an unpaved road with the paved road between Kotlas and Koryazhma.
