State of Tamil Nadu; Glenrock Estate v. State of Tamil Nadu and Nilambur Kovilakam v. State of Tamil Nadu.
On 20 August 1921, the police attempted to arrest Vadakkevittil Muhammed, the secretary of the Khilafat Committee of Ernad at Pookkottur, alleging that he stolen the pistol of a Hindu Thirumulpad from a Kovilakam (manor) in Nilambur.
