After graduating from Lee, he taught general music at Ocoee Middle School, as well as band and general music at North Whitfield Middle School, before deciding to go back to his alma mater and work toward a Master’s degree.

He has maintained a private studio with as many as 20 students at a time, in addition to performing with such renowned artists as Phil Driscoll, Roy Roman, Edwin Santiago from the group Salvador, Larnelle Harris, Michael English, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Group The Impressions, and the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps as a featured soloist.
