After his masters education he moved on to higher studies to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy in History (PhD) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, 1993-1995.

He took Sai Gurucharitra written by Das Ganu Maharaj and Sai Satcharitra written by Govindrao Raghunath Dabholkar (Hemadpant) as a base for all the preaching's of Sai Baba and began to expand on top of that.

Apart from being an educationalist and entrepreneur, Dr. Kumar is a strong devotee of Sai Baba of Shirdi.
