She translated Medieval French Novels (Romanzi medievali d'amore e d'avventura, Grandi Libri Garzanti, now reprinted and in CD-ROM), and edited a Renaissance correspondence (Lettere della fiorentina Alessandra Macinghi Strozzi, Garzanti 1989).
That same year Alessandrini started working for Catholic weekly Il Giornalino, where he drew some episodes of the series Ai confini dell'avventura and Storie di tutti i tempi.

In 1939, whilst working on Un Avventura di Salvator Rosa (1940) directed by the celebrated Alessandro Blasetti, she met Osvaldo Valenti.
He produced adventure/historical titles for CEPIM's Un uomo un'avventura and, for the French publisher Larrousse, some episodes of Histoire de France en bandes dessinées and La Découverte du Monde.
