Julio Manuel Segundo Ríos (born 26 September 1993 in La Chorrera) is a Panamian footballer, who plays for Veria F.C. in the Superleague Greece as a midfielder.
The municipality was once a notable site for rubber production, exploited by the Peruvian Julio César Arana brothers at the turn of the 20th century, north of the Putumayo River.
West Panama includes the districts that are over the Bridge of the Americas (Arraiján, La Chorrera, Chame and San Carlos).
The first settlement dates from 1683 when tobacco farmers settled on the lands of the ranches in Sócalo Hondo, Managua, Bejucal and La Chorrera, then under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela.
