Marie van Zandt

Marie van Zandt made her Metropolitan Opera debut as Amina in Vincenzo Bellini's La sonnambula on December 21, 1891, remaining with the company for only one season, as usual.

Tancredi Pasero

After studying with the baritone Arturo Pessina in Turin, Pasero made his debut there, during 1917, as Ramphis in Verdi's Aida—although he always considered his official operatic debut to have taken place in Vicenza, on December 15, 1918, as Rodolfo in Vincenzo Bellini's La sonnambula.

Later he performed in theaters in many Italian cities, like Bologna, Mantua and Venice, and performed important works such as Rigoletto, La sonnambula, L'amico Fritz, Iris, and Manon.
