Lappa, Rethymno, a municipal unit in the Rethymno regional unit, Greece
The municipality's name was a revival of the name of the ancient city of Lappa, now the village of Argyroupoli.

Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Rethymno, of which it is a municipal unit.
This was the movie which had the famous Punjabi song "'Laara Lappa Laara Lappa Layi Rakhda" by Lata Mangeshkar, G. M. Durrani and Mohammad Rafi.
Additionally, LAPPA is actively involved in supporting and promoting the surrounding communities of San Pedro and Wilmington.
