Léonce Laugier, Governor General for Inde française in the Second French Colonial Empire under Third Republic
Paul Auguste Ernest Laugier (22 December 1812 in Paris - 5 April 1872) was a French astronomer, one of two French astronomers referred to as M. Laugier.
Sandra Laugier extensively worked on J. L. Austin and L. Wittgenstein; she also introduced several aspects of American philosophy to French readers (Emerson, Thoreau, but above all Stanley Cavell).
