The CD contains the music from the series performed for the cast, including Belinda, Laura Flores, Fabián Chávez, Johnny Lozada, Silvia Lomelí and the "Cómplices": Alex Speitzer, Ramiro Torres, Vadhir Derbez, Martha Sabrina, Dulce María López and Diego Amozurrutia.
Music was within her, and in 1980 Luis de Llano Macedo offered her the opportunity to sing and record some songs in English in the program Noche de Noche, hosted by Verónica Castro.

Her first acting opportunity came during a musical presentation in Tampico, where a producer offered her a role in the telenovela El combate, starring Ignacio López Tarso.
Like his 1999 release Trozos de Mi Alma this album includes songs written by Solís that were previously recorded by other artists, such as Laura Flores ("Antes de Que Te Vayas"), José Javier Solís ("Quien Se Enamoró"), Pesado ("Te Voy a Esperar"), Pablo Montero ("Pídemelo Todo"), Victoria ("Hay Veces"), Rocío Dúrcal ("Extrañandote" and "Yo Creía Que Sí"), Paulina Rubio ("Ojalá") and Marisela ("Dios Bendiga Nuestro Amor" and "No Puedo Olvidarlo").
