During the following years he met Makis Tsigandes, and forming the Agnoston Loipon Stoicheion rock band, presenting to the public his own songs and those of Lavrentis Machairitsas and Vasilis Papakonstantinou.
In 1982, their first album, Armageddon, produced by Giannis Doulamis, was released by PolyGram.
Babis Stokas has cooperated, as a solo artist, with many important Greek singers and composers, such as George Dalaras, Lavrentis Machairitsas, Katsimihas Brothers, Stamatis Kraounakis, Pantelis Thalassinos, Melina Aslanidou and many more.
