After the war, on April 1, 1919, Morel was hired as a commercial inspector by Le Zèbre.

Between 1911 and 1914, Morel managed a mechanic workshop that repaired and sold automobiles and represented the brands Berliet and Le Zèbre.
The make historian is Philip Schram who wrote the book "l'Epopee de la societe Le Zebre".
In 2012, a German version was co-authored with Marek Hötzelt & Schram :de:Le Zèbre.
Schram collaborated on Les Ornais Celebres (The Orne Celebrities) in 2010 as a key contributor of photographs and knowledge about Joseph Lamy, a famous resident of France's Orne region and key executive at Le Zebre and Amilcar.
