Maurice Ravel memorialized him in his Le tombeau de Couperin, dedicating the closing Toccata to him (the sixth part of the piano version, but absent in the orchestral arrangement).
Also in 2013, Trevor P. Wagler re-arranged the orchestral version down to a quintet and was played at Wilfrid Laurier University, in four movements: Prelude, Forlane, Menuet and Rigaudon.
