Played by Bae Soo-bin in Painter of the Wind – a 2008 TV series about the painters Shin Yun-bok and Kim Hong-do, adapted from Lee Jeong-myeong's novel of the same title.

Major insurance, securities, financial services companies, and investment firms with headquarters in Myeongdong include Citibank, SK Corporation, Kookmin Bank, Korea Exchange Bank, Lone Star Funds, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, AIG Korea Insurance, Hana Bank, and HSBC.

Myeongdong Cathedral has been a frequent spot for many of these demonstrations and still is to this day.

Namchuncheon Station

Metropolitan bus service from this station toward central business district (Myeong-dong명동 or Jungang-ro중앙로, famous for soap series Winter Sonata겨울연가), North (Hupyeong-dong후평동), Central (Hyoja-dong효자동), and Southend (Hakgok-ri학곡리) connects frequently, however, most of South Chuncheon (Toegye and Seoksa) residential area where massively populated, still rarely.
