Payne, along with Denise Jones, Shelley Breen, Terry Jones and Leigh Cappillino, has proudly supported Mercy Ministries of America, a non-profit organization for women who face life-controlling issues such as self-mutilation, sexual abuse, and unplanned pregnancies.
She has also won, along with Point of Grace, 5 Dove Awards including the 2008 Dove Award for Country Recorded Song of the Year for the single "How You Live (Turn Up The Music)" and the 2011 Dove Award for Country Album of the Year for No Changin' Us.

From 1997 through 2003, Cappillino was a featured worship leader in Women of Faith conferences, singing alongside many well-known speakers and authors such as Sheila Walsh and Luci Swindoll.
It was Leigh Cappillino's first tour with Point of Grace, six years after her husband had joined.
