Murdock has served in many roles in the defense world, including as a senior policy adviser to House Armed Services Committee chairman Les Aspin, as an analyst and Africa issues manager in the CIA, and in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
She served as deputy assistant secretary of defense, under Defense Secretaries Les Aspin and William Perry, in the Clinton Administration, and was responsible for negotiating the dismantlement and destruction of weapons of mass destruction in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
After working for Congressman Les Aspin as staff director of the sub-committee on covert action in the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Fuerth spent many years working for Al Gore in a variety of capacities.
Following his Peace Corps experience, Ragan worked for the US House of Representatives Veterns Affairs Committee and as a Defense and Foreign Policy Aide for Congressman Les Aspin from Wisconsin.
