Of Lexington Park's well known celebrities, even though he often touts himself as having spent his teenage years growing up in Mayfair, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while attending and later dropping out from Northeast Philadelphia's Lincoln High School, in truth, actor Sylvester Stallone actually resided in Lexington Park during those years.

But with Lexington Park being white collar, and Mayfair being blue collar, the "growing up in rough and tumble Mayfair" image apparently far better fit the "Rocky" identity.

In 2006, when Rocky Balboa was being filmed in Philadelphia, Sylvester Stallone, along with brother Frank Stallone, made a special side trip to revisit their old house in Lexington Park.
